This year I've hopscotched across Ontario and the United States more than I'd originally planned, and those trips have been absolutely amazing. However, there's a big difference between a trip and a vacation. A trip, while amazing in its own way, is filled with a lot of hustle and movement, a whirlwind tour of seeing a lot of things in a short timespan. A vacation on the other hand, is exactly like Jamaica 2017. M and I flew to Runaway Bay for an entire week of doing nothing but laying on the beach, reading, drinking cold beer and pina coladas, and petting the stray cats that roamed outside the breakfast buffet.
The most colourful place in the entire city. This spot in Oshawa's downtown is the first legal graffiti space in the entire city. Adjacent to the Paint Factory, the wall switches up every few winks with new designs and artists. Even if you're not a photographer, the art is something to behold.
In September of 2017, M and I took a trip to Algonquin Park with one of my best friends and his wife. We spent the weekend hiking, cooking good food and soaking up the last warm days of the season.
