A late night means another late entry.
But that’s okay, I’m curled up on the couch, eating some instant noodles, watching the office, and keeping the journalling streak alive.
Back in Oshawa now, but it was an awesome weekend at home.
I’ve learned, once again, that I can’t keep up with Mike when it comes to putting away the beers and I’ve also learned that just because you’ve gone axe throwing once, it doesn’t make you very good at it.
BATL with the family was a great time. My older brother Kyle ended up winning the tournament, but my sore abs and a few Instagram picks are proof that I threw some pretty good axes.
M also finished top in points, so we have also learned that she can throw axes better than I can.
Anyway, after the BATL we headed back to my parents place for some homemade pizza and to watch the Leaf game. Mike also came over and joined the party, which following the Leaf game devolved into Cards Against Humanity and Drunk Jenga.
I’ve said before, and written about it before as well, that it’s great to have Mike living back in Ontario. He’s one of those guys where we could easily go years without seeing each other (which we have) and pick up right where we left off (which we have).
I haven’t been thinking about work too much this weekend, but I don’t have much of a choice now as I’ve got to cover the Generals game tonight. So, I’m going to squeeze in a nap and a few more episodes of The Office before I’ve gotta take off. Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone!
